Miracles Forever

Miracles are astounding, life-changing, and captivating to most. Consider how the miracle of the resurrection of Jesus Christ launched the Christian movement 2,000 years ago. The good news is that miracle was simply the first of many more to follow. There are miracles everywhere in our lives—some that we’re aware of and some that happen without our even noticing. Christianity is a miracle from start to finish.

Our Miracle

Most of you know the story of how Dianne (my wife) and I were declared infertile back in 1977. Both our local hospital and Northwestern University Memorial Hospital in Evanston, IL said we could not have children and should plan on growing our family through adoption. When a friend said that God was still doing miracles just as  He did 2,000 years ago, we were totally intrigued. We had no idea how a miracle could happen, but we knew we needed one. In January of 1979, we received our first miracle child. From that miracle, The Vineyard Church of Central Illinois sprang forth. It is just one more of the many miracles of Christianity.

Hope For More Miracles

Did you know there are 7,000,000 barren women in the USA and 70,000,000 worldwide? One in eight couples struggle with infertility. The pain of barrenness is enormous in their lives. Yet, this same miracle working God has a plan for them as well as He did for us. It is the dream of this church to see every couple who wants to have a child receive their own miracle.

Help From Above

In her new book, We’re Pregnant! How To Receive God’s Cure For Infertility, Dianne chronicles the basic principles we learned through our journey. These are not closely guarded secrets but actually an invitation from our Father for anyone who is struggling in this area. He wants the miracles to continue.

Our Story

The first part of the book chronicles the story that Dianne and I journeyed through over a 20 month period. It shows our struggles, our interaction with the Spirit, our hopes, and ultimately our faith being rewarded. It’s a story that will give you hope as well—whether barren or not.

Struggle Of Others

In part two of the book, Dianne outlines the struggles of barren women from around the world. Some of them are here from the church but others live as far away as Europe, Asia, China, and other far-reaching places. The story is the same—a great God meets them where they are and fulfills a promise so that miracles continue in their lives.

God’s Baby Plan

In the last part of the book, Dianne outlines what she received from the Holy Spirit with regard to infertility. Over the years, we’ve probably prayed for 500 couples and seen about 90% actually receive children. It is a great joy and delight in our hearts when this miracle happens in the life of someone who is longing for a child. It changes their lives forever. And, we get to enjoy the blessing of watching the miracles continue.

On Mother’s Day…

There are women who are still waiting for children. For any woman who is struggling with infertility or if you know someone who is struggling, we are providing a free copy of Dianne’s book “We’re Pregnant!”, after each service on Mother’s Day Weekend. Our hope is by reading the book, faith will spark in your heart and a miracle will happen again.

Expect A Miracle

Albert Einstein said there are two ways to live life, “We can assume that nothing is a miracle, or that everything is a miracle”. Dianne and I have chosen to live as though almost all of life is a miracle. It is our dream that many new babies be born through the efforts of this book and the prayers of those who believe. We want the miracles to continue forever.

Hi and welcome! I'm Happy. My wife Dianne and I are the founders of the Vineyard Church of Central Illinois, a multi-site church with 6 campus locations. Over the last 30+ years, I have learned alot about leadership in life and leading a church. I have made some mistakes and had some successes. I look forward to sharing the wisdom I have learned with you. I strive everyday to see Jesus as bigger, better, and more beautiful. And I am wholeheartedly committed to the ministry Jesus promised his followers in John 14:12: to be able to do the same and greater works through the power of the Holy Spirit.
